getting angry can be a good thing

Today in journalism class on May 14, 2012 we read this example of “I Believe” this essay is named getting angry can be a good thing. It was mainly about a woman named Cecillia Munoz writing about a time she remembers when a family friend  told her that if they united states goes to war in latin America , and told her that her parents belong in an internment camp just like the Japanese-americans during world war II. Which sparked her to be angry at the situation which inspired her to work  as an advocate . she helped 5o immigrant families in a day, the faces of the five who didn’t qualify haunted her dreams at night. Knowing that she couldn’t help everyone still made her angry and try to strive to help everyone. Furthermore she said “ you have victories but your defeats outnumber them by far, and you remember the names and faces of those who lost. This means that even though she may have many victories and reunite American families with their immigrant family , there are still some challeges and battles she cannot win. Also she stated “ I deeply familiar with that hollow place that outrage carves in your soul; I’ve fed off of it to sustain my work for may years. This means that knowing those circumstances she feds off it and becomes angry which inspires her to do the right thing and try to help bring families together even if her part of helping is small. She still tries to do the right thing.
I personally disagree with her belif of being angry all the time could actually help bring something positive. Since mostly when im angry , my intensions and actions are very negative not positive when someone makes me angry. Not many can think or do something positive once someone tells them oh you can do nothing your just a kid or even say your this or that when someone  judges you it makes you angry and do something destructive.
